Our visuals are used on screens for web clients, in traditional print media and enlarged onto walls for bigger physical audiences. The team at Vertical Arborists are experts in their field and all-round good people. The evolution of their logo was a happy collaboration resulting in the adaptation of the New Zealand Kowhai into the V and the A of the companies name. Te Manawa Art Society has been helping to curate art exhibitions, organise workshops and host guest speakers for over 50 years in Palmerston North. Their logo features the head of Pacific Monarch, the 4.4 metre high bronze sculpture by Paul Dibble that stands at the front of the Art Gallery. The logo has translated beautifully into the pin which is available to purchase at Te Manawa in Palmerston North.
This series of oil paintings were inspired by autumn walks on Palmerston North’s river tracks during the Covid-19 lock-down. They reflect streaming morning light breaking through the shadows. Light conquering darkness, bringing life and colour to each new day.

The Riddet Institute is a national centre of research excellence focusing on world-class food and nutritional sciences, in collaboration with international research and higher education organisations. This project aimed to show the depth and breadth of their scope and showcase it on their folder covers.
Paula McCool's informative and well-researched book Staying Power tells the story of Woodville and Pahiatua's horse racing history. It is full of local personalities whose commitment to their sport is admirable. The book follows the Racing Club's journey through two world wars and generations of passionate members. It has been a delight to create the look and feel for such an ambitious project.
Map and guide projects are always team exercises between client and designer. We get to throw our creativity at a bunch of information to make complex data easy to read and understand at a glance.

This Riddet Institute book project aimed to enhance New Zealand’s focus on the highly competitive food market internationally. Shaping the book like a digital tablet and employing specialist print finishes gave the book instant appeal.
B&M Electrical have a staff who provide excellent service for all things electrical. Photographing their staff in action and building their new website didn’t feel like work at all and using a cherry picker to take the high angle staff shot was only part of the fun. Lovers of good quality upcycled furniture are in for a treat at Fusion Furniture. Designing their new look and website was easy with such beautiful pieces of furniture to work with. The only problem was resisting the urge to purchase the lot. At Fusion Furniture they embrace the stories and origins of each piece of furniture, leaving some imperfections, yet transforming them completely with high quality paints.
Working within the constraints of a well-established international brand can still give a lot of scope for creativity. This series of promotional posters for Camelbak allowed us to vent our own love for mountain biking.
